Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma - Rochester

Better Together

Thank you for visiting my Team Fundraising page to support the "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" event!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to support my team’s effort to raise funds for people living with scleroderma. To make a donation, click on one of the team members to make a gift towards their fundraising effort to help our team.

The event is still looking for sponsors and sponsorship starts at $250.00 on up with different levels of recognition for each level.  If you or someone you know is interested sponsoring this event, please let me know.  And their sponsorship monetary donation can be credited to the Better Together Team and go towards our fundraising goal.

Even though this is a very serious disease, our team does not take ourselves too seriously.  If you would like to join our team at the event, and walk and help raise funds, please click on “Join My Team” and follow the directions.  Actually doing the walk is completely optional - after all we need people to cheer us on!

Benefits of being on our team:  free 'Stepping Out' T-shirts for all participants from the Scleroderma Tri-State Chapter, picnic lunch (hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, chips, salads, water/soda) and we are hoping that the Bruesters Ice Cream truck will be coming back (and gave very generous servings in dishes or waffle cones), and raffle prizes.  For the raffle that you can put your tickets into the container for the specific raffles prizes you are interested.  I have been working with our local artisan community to get donated pieces of art (ranging from jewelry/wearable art to pictures to coasters), I've had a wonderful response and can't wait to actually see the donations.

In addition this is a pet friendly event, as long as you pet is comfortable in a crowd (but they don't supply lunch for our 4 legged friends, unless your furry friend likes hot dogs and/or hamburgers).

Please help today! Our team sincerely appreciates your support, and we ask you to please share this with anyone who you think might want to help.

Help our team bring more awareness to scleroderma so we can find a cure!
