I was diagnosed with localized Scleroderma in May of 2007 during my freshman year in college. As a track and field athlete, the Scleroderma caused tightness in my leg as it continued to spread. With the help of great doctors and a lot of exercise, I was able to regain all the mobility in my leg. Immediately after my diagnosis in 2007 I signed up for the Scleroderma walk, and I have been walking for a cure ever since.

While I'm fortunate to have Scleroderma that is strictly limited to my skin, I walk for those who have to battle any form of this terrible disease. The people I have met through my journey with the disease are truly inspiring. I aim to do anything I can to bring awareness and fundraising so we can find a cure for them.

I’d like to thank my family and friends for their support and for walking with me year after year. I love you all so much!
