Fundraising Honor Roll

Jan Gordon, a wonderful mother and wife, battled Scleroderma courageously for over 30 years.  Sadly, she passed away on February 5, 2015.  We have already raised more than $1,800 and counting thanks to your generous donations shortly after her passing.

In her honor, let's get together and fight for her and for everyone else fighting this disease everyday!

Join us for an hour-long boxing class (wraps and gloves included) and/or two hours of all-you-can-eat appetizers and all-you-can-drink beer (Stella, Guinness, Blue moon, 312, and Lagunitas)!

When: Saturday, May 16 10:45pm - 2pm

UFC Gym South Loop (10:45-11:45, but please arrive 20-30 minutes early to get all set up for the class.)

8 E. 9th St.

Chicago, IL 60605

****SPACE IS LIMITED for the boxing class, so please email Caitlin at to sign up for the class.****

The Scout Waterhouse + Kitchen (12pm - 2pm)

1301 S. Wabash

Chicago, IL 60605

There will be great raffle items at both events!

Please bring your donations to the event:

If you come to just UFC Gym: $25

If you come to just The Scout: $25

If you come to BOTH: $40

We have set our fundraising goal to $1,800 because the Hebrew word for "life" is "chai," and the two Hebrew letters that spell "chai" add up to 18.  My mom loved this word and what it symbolized.

But if you cannot come but would still like to donate, please consider doing so on this page.  All contributions are for the Scleroderma Foundation to use to help find a cure for those whose lives have been affected by scleroderma.  If you would like to find out more about scleroderma and the Foundation, please visit  Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
