What is Scleroderma?

Get more information on scleroderma and what the Tri-State Chapter along with the Scleroderma Foundation National Office are doing to get closer to a cure. 


U.S. Representative Pete King (R) of New York's second district, is the lead sponsor of House Bill 4638, National Commission on Scleroderma and Fibrotic Diseases Act of 2017.  If established, the commission would evaluate and make recommendations regarding improvements to the coordination and avancement of National Institutes of Health (NIH) supported research avtivities related to fibrosis and fibrotic diseases, which may include scleroderma as a prototypical condition.  The bill i sbeing reintroduced for 2019, and your voice is needed to help move it to the floor for a vote.

Scleroderma Educational Forums

Tri-State Scleroderma Educational Forums (see Calendar listings) are designed to provide updates on scleroderma related research and educational support for the treatment and management of scleroderma to people with scleroderma, family members, and caregivers.  The educational component is also of value to medical professionals toward their understanding of the disease and best practices.
