About the Program for Kids & Teens

Anaheim Juvenile Conference Attendees

Kids and teens who attend the Scleroderma Foundation's National Patient Education Conference will have lots of fun! They'll have the opportunity to play games, create art projects and make lifelong friends. They'll also discuss what it's like to live with scleroderma, or have a loved one who has the disease.

For the past several years, we have offered a juvenile panel discussion, which allows participants to openly share their experiences about living with the disease, such as dealing with a diagnosis, treatment, school issues, relationships, body image and more.

The Kids and Teens Program offered as part of the National Patient Education Conference is an exceptional program for children and teen patients, siblings of patients, sons/daughters of scleroderma patients, and other young people who are affected by the disease.
