"Journey to Wholeness – The Stages of Illness," by Cindy Coney

Yoga
for Scleroderma
This 52-minute DVD was funded by a grant for $20,000
from the Foundation's Texas Bluebonnet Chapter. The
grant was earmarked for Programs & Services. Kathleen
Randolph, a Yoga instructor, worked with Marilyn McDonald,
a physical therapist, to create a yoga program aimed
at alleviating some of the common symptoms of scleroderma.
The program consists of a sequence of floor exercises,
standing poses, inverted postures, and breathing and
relaxation techniques—each selected because it
addresses a specific symptom of scleroderma. (2003)
