Team Ruskin

Thank you for visiting my team page. This will be the 5th year that Team Ruskin participates in the “Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma” walk-a-thon and we need your support!

My mom, Laura Ruskin, passed away July 2015 after battling with Scleroderma for 20+ years. In 2010 her doctors told her that it would be a miracle if she lived to see the upcoming holiday season. My mom was meager in stature, but immense in heart and spirit. She did more than just survive those last few years; she lived! Before she passed she helped me organize our team and raise awareness for the Scleroderma Foundation. If I knew 1 thing about my mom it's that she would want everyone to take advantage of this day and to live every day to the fullest. This cause was very important to her and it's up to us to carry the torch and help in anyway we can.

Please help us by joining our team on behalf of this important cause! If you don't think you are able to participate, but would still like to support the organization and our efforts, please click on the "Donate Now".

All contributions are for the Scleroderma Foundation to use to help find a cure for those whose lives have been affected by scleroderma. If you would like to find out more about scleroderma and the Foundation, please visit www.scleroderma.org.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
