2018 Stepping Out - Detroit, MI (Michigan Chapter)

Stampeders

Thank you for visiting Stampeders Stampeding to find a CURE's team event page! The event is being held on June 3rd at the Detroit June and this is our 39th walk and run.

I have had the honor of being the Michigan Chapter's Executive Director since 2008 and over the years I have seen so many patients lose their incredible battles to scleroderma.  The mission of the chapter is three-fold, education, awareness, and raising funds to provide direct dollars that will go toward peer-to-peer medical research.  Every dollar that you contribute will help Team Stampeders be stampeding to find a CURE for scleroderma.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to support our team and help raise funds for scleroderma patients. To make a donation, click the "Donate Now" button that appears under the photo. Then, just follow the instructions.  We have worked hard to make this process quick and easy for you and if you experience any difficulty, just let me know and I will assist you.

If you would like to join Steve and I at the event, volunteering, raise funds, or just enjoying the day at the zoo with family and friends, we encourage you to share the day!  Click on “Join My Team” and follow the directions.

Please help Steve and I today!  We both are committed to helping scleroderma find a CURE!  We have seen so many of our friends lose their battle to this disease and we are watching so many more faced with the daily pain, fatigue and unknowns.  Children of all ages have scleroderma, it is not just a disease for middle aged woman.  Men also face a life with scleroderma.  We are working hard to create awareness and education so that should the day come when scleroderma touches your family there will be treatments, options and we pray, a CURE!  We both sincerely appreciate your support, and please share this with anyone who you think might want to help.

Stampeders thanks you for making a real difference in the lives of so many who are unable to do this for themselves.  Thank you for visiting Stampeders Stampeding to find a CURE's personal event page! The event is being held on June 3rd at the Detroit June and this is our 39th walk and run.
