On June 20, we will be participating in the “Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma” walk-a-thon and we need your support!
Kirstin Wallin was diagnosed with systemic scleroderma when she was 21. It progressed rapidly, and her prognosis was poor. When she was 23, she underwent an experimental stem cell transplant in the hop that it would stop the progress of the disease. Her recovery has been nothing short of miraculous. Today, more than 17 years after her transplant, she is in good helath (though still suffering some lingering effects of the disease), and living an active life. Please give generously to fund reasearch and help others in their fight against this devastating disease.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
All contributions are for the Scleroderma Foundation to use to help find a cure for those whose lives have been affected by scleroderma. If you would like to find out more about scleroderma and the Foundation, please visit www.scleroderma.org.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
