2017 Stepping Out - Germantown, WI (Greater Chicago Chapter)

Team ShelleyZ

Several years ago, my Mom was diagnosed with Scleroderma (a chronic connective tissue disease generally classified as one of the autoimmune rheumatic diseases). In 2009, the first annual fundraiser/walk was brought to WI and ironically held right in Germantown. One year later, on September 19th 2010, the disease that Mom fought so bravely, took her life at the age of 59. Not a day goes by where we don't miss her.

Every year around the anniversary of her passing, family and friends gather together to walk for her, celebrate her, and raise awareness/money in her name to help find a cure for the awful disease that took her away from us all much too soon.

Thank you for stepping out to cure Scleroderma!
