Note: Do you have questions about how to register and participate in the event? Visit our help page.

This year, make a positive impact on the lives of family, friends, coworkers and everyone who lives with scleroderma. Participate in our Annual WORLD SCLERODERMA DAY VIRTUAL WALK one of the Scleroderma Foundation’s "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" events.

When you join this walk, you support the Scleroderma Foundation and the hundreds of thousands of adults and children who cope with this disease every day.

Lace Up Your Shoes!

Is there already a “Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma” walk near me?

Before you begin planning your walk, check and see if there is a local walk near youClick here to see a list of walk events in your state. Many of our 20 active chapters are hosting walks in 2017 and even have their own virtual component in the event you cannot attend. We do encourage you to participate locally whenever possible. Your local chapter could have just the opportunity you're looking for - from helping others learn to live with scleroderma, to helping with an event, and to making sure scleroderma remains a priority issue for elected officials.

This event is an excellent opportunity to raise money for research to find the cause and cure of scleroderma.

This virtual walk offers you an opportunity to be a part of the Foundation’s largest fundraising event, “Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma”. Because of generous donors, volunteers and participants just like you we are able to get one step closer to finding better therapies, and hopefully, a cure for scleroderma.

Please join us! Don’t miss this fun and exciting opportunity to make a difference in the life of someone living with scleroderma.

Would you like to start a walk in your hometown? It’s easy to get involved. Your local chapter or support groups are happy to help, and we’ll get you connected.  In addition to the funds your event will raise, you also create valuable awareness about scleroderma to the public and your community.
