Review the day's schedule (and note time and location changes).

Stampede Scleroderma is 40 years old and we are excited to be returning to the Detroit Zoo with some event changes we know you'll enjoy.

This year, all activities will be located in one area: the Water Tower Parking Lot directly next to the zoo parking structure off the 696 service drive. The entertainment stage will be front and center with the educational program beginning at 8:00 a.m.

The runs and walk will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the zoo gates will not open until 9:00 a.m. Check-in and registration will close at 8:30 a.m., so make sure you arrive prior to that time so you can secure your zoo tickets and T-shirt. If you do arrive after 8:30, you will have to pay an additional cost to enter the zoo and you will not be able to get your T-shirt (even if you have registered online).

Help the Michigan Chapter meet and exceed our fundraising goals.

We need our old friends and new friends to come together to help us meet and exceed our $130,000 fundraising goal. This will take every team and team member reaching out and asking friends, family members and co-workers for even a $5 donation. Can you imagine how much could be raised if every team member sets a goal to raise $50, $100 or more? Every dollar will support the three-fold mission of the Scleroderma Foundation Michigan Chapter.

Let's make the 40th Stampede Scleroderma the year that team members fundraise to get us closer to a cure.

Interested in becoming a team leader but still have questions? Check out our Team Leader FAQ. Event questions?

We know our guests have questions about Stampede Scleroderma and we only have so much space on the website to provide that information. Can't make it to the zoo for Stampede? Become a virtual participant and raise funds by asking friends, family members and co-workers to support you. It's easy to do. Just register for Stampede Scleroderma as a virtual participant, create your team page and begin fundraising.

Fundraise your way!

If you can't make Stampede Scleroderma and are unable to be a virtual participant, you can plan a fundraiser on your time, in your area! Host a car wash, golf outing, community walk or another activity and raise funds to support our mission. Every dollar counts, so no matter what type of fundraiser you plan, the funds will directly support the programs and services of our chapter. Garage sales, spaghetti dinners, house parties and jeans days all make a significant impact. Not sure where to begin? The Michigan Chapter is here to support you with all your fundraising needs. Email Laura Dyas at ldyas@scleroderma-mi.org for ideas and more information.
