Meet the Support Group Leader, Edie!

edie and bela.jpg

Edie Started this support group in October of 2012 because she felt that no one knew what she was going through while dealing with scleroderma. Her meetings average 12-15 people, and they talk about making better food choices, finding adaptive exercises, ways to combat medicine side-effects, medical tests and more. She is proud of her group because they encourage each other to keep trying and not give up. She even says that members of the group have become friends outside of the support group.
