EULAR Recommendations for Scleroderma Treatment Updated

A task force of 32 scleroderma experts from Europe and United States have updated the 2009 European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) recommendations for the treatment of scleroderma, with a particular attention made toward new therapeutic questions. Sixteen recommendations were developed that address several scleroderma-related complications, including Raynaud Phenomenon, digital ulcers, pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), skin and lung disease, renal complications and gastrointestinal involvement.

The session focused on how oxygen therapy can improve PH symptoms, and how patients and their caregivers can learn more about therapies available.

Email Keyboard KeysThis is an important notice for our eLetter subscribers who have Verizon ( email addresses. Verizon recently announced that it will be shutting down its email service, affecting more than 4.5 users.

Over the next few months, Verizon will notify its customers to migrate their email address as-is to AOL – or abandon the address. People who choose the first option will continue to use the same email address and you can continue to email them. If they chose a different provider (e.g. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) or do nothing, their email address will be deleted by Verizon after 180 days of inactivity.

Please take action so you don't miss our weekly eLetter. If you do change your email address, please let us know so we can update your record and you can continue to receive communications from the Scleroderma Foundation.
