Clinical Trial Opportunity

Catalyst for Patients with CTD-PAH

Catalyst is a Phase III clinical study evaluating the safety and efficacy of bardoxolone methyl (an oral medication) for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension associated with connective tissue disease (CTD-PAH). This includes PAH associated with lupus, scleroderma, Sjögren’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, and other connective tissue diseases. Approximately 200 patients will be enrolled at centers in various countries around the world.

Before participating, patients must complete the screening process at one of the study centers. Eligible patients will receive either BARD capsules or placebo capsules and will be instructed to take the capsules once daily for 24 weeks. The study team will follow patients closely and will conduct visits through the duration of participation. The investigational drug, study-related procedures, and doctor visits will be provided. You may receive compensation for your time and travel.
