Jennifer Haythornthwaite, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Haythornthwaite received a Scleroderma Foundation grant for $49,558 in 2000, to study "Quality of Life in Scleroderma." Dr. Haythornthwaite comments, "the Scleroderma Foundation's support has been critical in helping us conduct a longitudinal study of adjustment to scleroderma, focusing on pain, depression, and disfigurement. We are confident this information will provide an important direction for improving the comprehensive care of individuals with scleroderma."
