Jimenez, M.D., The Dorrance H. Hamilton Professor of
Medicineand Vice-Chairman for Research, Thomas Jefferson
University. After receiving a small Scleroderma
Foundation grant in 1994, Dr. Jimenez has gone on to
receive over $2.25 million in scleroderma research grants
from NIH. His major work has been in the areas of Biochemical
and VascularAlterations in Scleroderma and Collagen
Metabolism in a Model for Scleroderma. Dr. Jimenez comments,
The Scleroderma Foundation is a very valuable source
of support for new and innovative projects and for new
investigators.
