Linda Lee Wells Memorial Education Workshops
The Scleroderma Foundation is honored to announce that the educational workshop series offered at the National Patient Education Conference is being named in memory of Ms. Linda Lee Wells.
Ms. Wells, who was from Wyoming, but also lived in California, lost her battle with scleroderma in 2008. When she was first diagnosed with the disease some years ago, she turned to the Scleroderma Foundation for information and education about her condition. Always appreciative of the work and mission of the Scleroderma Foundation, Ms. Wells left the organization a significant legacy through a charitable remainder trust.
We are pleased to recognize Ms. Wells' generosity by naming the educational workshops in her memory.
This year, the Linda Lee Wells Memorial Education Workshops at the National Patient Education Conference feature 45 presentations by 43 different experts. Some of the workshops include:
- Living with PH
- Fitness – Adult/and Juvenile session
- Talking to your Primary Care Physician
- Accessing Patient Assistance Programs
- Preventive Care/Public Health Issues
Be sure to register early for the Conference (on or before June 26) to receive $50 off the registration fee.
Whether you're a first-time Conference attendee, or have attended conferences several times in the past, there is something for everyone to learn at the Conference, and we look forward to seeing you there!
