eLetter Survey 2008
Results are in!
After weeks of receiving your answers to our questions, we finally closed our 2008 eLetter Survey. We asked questions like, “How often do you read our newsletter?” and “How often would you like to receive our newsletter?” (The majority of you asked us to keep sending it weekly and on Fridays.)
The results are in and they are extremely positive. Many of you like the length of the eLetter, but did encourage us to use more photos. Another positive message is that 61 percent of respondents indicated that they read three quarters of the eLetter! This tells us that we are giving you information you can use. And since 94 percent of you said you find the information in the eLetter “very relevant,” this makes sense.
People who have scleroderma often seek out others who have it as well. Comfort is found in knowing that there are others who share some of the same challenges—and triumphs—you experience in your own life. Sharing information is vital to help people cope with scleroderma. We believe that is why people overwhelming asked that personal stories be added to our Web site. Did you know that we highlight one personal story from every magazine? You can read them at www.scleroderma.org/news/Voice-Highlights/2007/voice2007-highlights.shtm.
Here are a few of the suggestions for articles that survey respondents requested:
- Coping
- Digestion articles
- Latest medications
- Stories about men with scleroderma
- Latest research
- Stem cell transplants
Our thanks to all of you who participated in this survey. Your feedback is important to us. Please know that we are listening and will implement many of your suggestions over this next year.
