A Message from the Development Staff
As the Scleroderma Foundation nears the end of its tenth anniversary year, we would like to take this opportunity to emphasize the need for the ongoing commitment of individuals who provide annual gifts to the organization.
Throughout the past decade, the passion of our members and donors, the dedication of our volunteers, and the commitment of the Board and staff have brought us to where we are today.
The Foundation has a rich history from which much can be learned, but our focus is clearly on the future as we grow and improve until our ultimate hope for a cure becomes a reality. It is the past commitment of individuals that have helped to make it the leading nonprofit organization in the world dedicated to the concerns of those living with scleroderma.
It is the collective effort of all of us that propels our progress and sustains our vitality. Together, we can do more to support those who live day in and day out with this disease; we can do more to educate the public about the need for support of this disease; and we can do more to fund research to find the cause and cure!
But we can’t do it without you.
In these economic times, we realize that many people are finding it difficult to make ends meet and that charitable giving is an area that is being scaled back by many. If you haven’t contributed already, we urge you to consider a gift in support of the Scleroderma Foundation during this holiday season.
While economic times have changed, the need to support those living with this terrible disease has not. Annual gifts are the anchor in sustaining the future of the Scleroderma Foundation’s ability to provide support, education, and research.
