Facilitated by Elaine Furst, R.N., four panelists, ages 18–35, will offer their own perspectives on the disease as well as their approach to managing its symptoms. Attendees are encouraged to participate in this dialogue and share their own thoughts about scleroderma.

About Sandra Watcher, RN, BSN
Every child or young adult with Scleroderma is the "Center" of their own health care team. In this workshop we will discuss the roles of each member of your team including your coaches(health care providers), cheerleaders (family, friends), and fans (scleroderma foundation, community resources). As the "Center" you and your cheerleaders can take an active role in your health care. This workshop will discuss the benefit and ways to create a partnership for a winning team. |
