New Service for Individuals Using Actelion's PAH Medications

Ever wish you could discuss with other individuals your questions or concerns regarding your Actelion PAH medications?  Well, wait no more! 

Shal Jacobovitz, President of Actelion Pharmaceuticals, announced this past Tuesday,July 1st, that Actelion will be launching a new patient support service entitled: Sure Steps Connect:  A Web Program for Patients on Actelion PAH Medications.  

Developed as an extension to the already established parent support program, Sure Steps, Sure Steps Connect, goes one “step” further to address patients’ informational needs by introducing interactive web teleconferences. These web sessions partner participating Actelion PAH patients with opinion experts to help answer various related medical questions and concerns. The Sure Steps Connect program, whose first session is scheduled to begin on July 8th, is available to patients who meet the following criteria: 1) H/she is on Actelion PAH medication and 2) has been enrolled in the Sure Steps parent program for more than 10 days.  Various topics will be featured that range from understanding one’s diagnosis to managing one’s symptoms of the disease.  For a more personalized experience, viewers are given the option to submit their specific questions to the speaker post-presentation.
