Correction for the Medication Section of the September "Scleroderma Voice"

Please be advised that the September issue of the "Scleroderma Voice" magazine contains an error within the medical section titled, "Your Medications: A Guide to Better Understanding," regarding the listing of the most common side effects of D-penicillamine, on page 24. Listed below are the accurate side effects for D-penicillamine:
  • Bone marrow damage (rare)
  • Kidney damage
  • Mouth sores
  • Skin rash
  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
