Bobby Has Good Run in Phoenix
Bobby Hamilton, Jr. and the Team Rensi Motorsports/John Morrell No. 25 team had a good run in the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 at the Phoenix International Raceway, starting the race 15th and finishing 13th. Bobby, who was as high as third at one point, finished on the all-important lead lap.
Kyle Busch liked the taste of victory so much that he came back for a second helping. After picking up his first win of the season in NASCAR's Nationwide Series at Texas, Busch staved off a determined challenge from Carl Edwards to win last Friday night's Phoenix race.
For the next race on Sunday, April 20, Bobby will surrender his seat for Boris Said on the road course at the Mexico 200 in Mexico City. Said, 45, has competed in motorsports events throughout the world and in recent years has found great success running in a limited number of NASCAR races. He is considered to be one of the top international road-racers. The Race, which is being held at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, can be seen on ESPN on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. EST.
