Bobby Hamilton Jr. Finishes Season with a 21st Place Finish
The #25 Team Rensi Motorsports Ford Fusion qualified poorly (35th) which led to a 21st place finish in the Ford 300 at the Miami-Homestead Speedway this past Saturday. Bobby was disappointed with the result as this was the last race of the Nationwide Series season and he had hoped for another solid finish. As conciliation, Bobby did finish the season fifteenth in driver points, quite an accomplishment considering the number of Sprint Cup drivers who also competed in the Nationwide Series’ races in 2008.
Carl Edwards won the battle at Miami but Clint Bowyer won the war. Edwards did all he could do to catch Bowyer in the season finale, winning the Ford 300. But it wasn't enough to stop Bowyer's quest to win his first Nationwide Series championship. Bowyer won the title by a slim twenty-one points. |
