The Scleroderma Foundation is pleased to announce that we will be an associate sponsor of the Team Rensi Motorsports/Smithfield #25 Ford Fusion driven by Bobby Hamilton, Jr. during the full 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series campaign. Beginning this year, Nationwide Insurance has replaced Busch as sponsor of this competitive series.
“Remarkably, Bobby Hamilton, Jr. was the second highest finishing Busch Series driver in the point’s race dominated by Nextel Cup drivers dropping down into this series. Overall, Hamilton finished seventh in points during the 2007 season. With Hamilton and Team Rensi Motorsports, we are certain that our members and all fans of the NASCAR Nationwide Series will see exciting racing,” said Frannie Waldron, CEO of the Scleroderma Foundation headquartered in Danvers, Mass. "Team Rensi Motorsports is a great racing organization and we are confident that Bobby will be a great spokesperson for NASCAR racing and all their sponsors, and that NASCAR fans will continue to support this outstanding race team. It is also a great way to raise awareness and funds for this devastating autoimmune disease that affects over 300,000 people in the United States alone.
For all races, official practices, and other appearances in conjunction with races, the Scleroderma Foundation logo will appear on the B-posts of the #25 car as well as on Bobby Hamilton, Jr. and the crew’s uniforms, the Team Rensi Motorsports’ Transporter, and on all promotional material. Be sure to watch Bobby this Saturday, February 16 at Daytona and cheer him on to victory. |
