Foundation to Attend 2008 ACR Annual Meeting

Members of the Scleroderma Foundation national staff will be in attendance for next week’s Annual Meeting of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) in San Francisco, Calif. This international event is considered the premier meeting for rheumatologists and basic and clinical researchers in the rheumatology field. ACR officials are expecting more than 11,000 attendees at this meeting, which is scheduled to run October 24–29.

The Foundation, which continues to uphold its longstanding presence at the conference, plans to bolster existing relationships with physicians, pharmaceutical companies, patient/membership organizations, and others while creating new connections. It is a prime opportunity, as well, for the organization to introduce educational materials to medical professionals about scleroderma.
