The next issue of the Scleroderma Foundation’s
quarterly magazine, “Scleroderma Voice,”
should be arriving in mailboxes the week of March 12.
The March 2007 issue features cover girl Sherlyn Delaney
Roberts, who provides a diary account of her experience
with a stem cell transplant. The magazine also profiles
Richard Bates, who has recovered well following a lung
transplant due to complications from scleroderma.
Poster child Samantha Murray authored a short story
on what it is like to have scleroderma as a youth, while
her doctor, Thomas Lehman, M.D., writes a story on how
to cope with a youngster who has a chronic disease.
The magazine has several new features that will be
in each edition. They include a section called "What’s
Up, Doc?", in which doctors will answer your scleroderma-related
questions, and a section titled "Managing"
that lists products that our members have found useful.
If you would like to become a member and start receiving
