Conference Logistics: You Can Now
Book a Room, and Register
Scleroderma Foundation members planning on attending
the “I Believe” Patient Conference, scheduled
for July 20–22 in Philadelphia, may now register
for the conference and book a hotel room.
To register for the conference, click
here to download the form. You may register
for the conference using one of three formats: 1) You
can mail the completed form to us at Scleroderma Foundation,
300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923; 2)
You may fax the form to us at 1-978-463-5809; or 3)
You can call us at 1-800-722-HOPE. The cost to attend
the conference varies, depending on whether you are
a member or non-member, and when you register. (The
price increases on registrations postmarked after June
29).
As for booking a hotel room, members may access an
online room reservation link at the Doubletree Hotel
Web site, site of the conference, by clicking on http://doubletree.hilton.com/en/dt/groups/personalized/phlbldt_scl/index.jhtml

From now until June 20, attendees may make an online
reservation at the special block rate of $159 for rooms
with both king
and queen
size beds. Simply click on the Book a Room tab
to start the process. If the block rate sells out before
June 20, then the rate will no longer be in effect.
Guests may arrive July 17 and depart no later than
July 24 to take advantage of the rate.
The hotel is located at 237 South Broad Street across
the street from the Kimmel Center for the Performing
Arts, the Academy of Music, and Merriam and Wilma Theaters.
Walk from their hospitable downtown hotel to South Street,
the Italian Market, Antiques Row, Rittenhouse and Washington
Squares, the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the Historic
Waterfront District, world-class dining and shopping.
