Research Grant Applications Due September 17

The deadline to submit applications to the Scleroderma Foundation for research grants proposals is a little more than a month away. Investigator applications must be received at the Foundation office no later than Monday, September 17 at 5 p.m. EST.

In 2006, 42 applications were received, and of that number seven were funded. One million dollars were allocated among the seven grant winners.

Application instructions are available on our Web site at www.scleroderma.org/research/app_instr.shtm. Following receipt of the applications, a peer review committee will analyze and select the proposals they deem worthy of funding using NIH criteria.

An announcement of the 2008 winners will be made in January.
