As you can see, the conference reaches out to a number of groups: men, children and caregivers, among them. Some tried and true workshops—ones attendees have liked in the past—are back, but so are new ones including the stem cell transplant discussion, the lung transplant workshop and the tests for scleroderma.

“What’s most exciting to me is how dedicated and committed the doctors and presentors are to participating in the conference,” said Jaye van Dussen, the Foundation’s development and grant manager who is organizing the workshop program. “Thanks to them our lineup of workshops is phenomenal.”

While the conference promises to help you learn about scleroderma and how if affects you and your family, it is also an event that allows you to reconnect with friends, and establish new relationships as well.

And the conference site, the Doubletree Hotel, is in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. The city is home to many of the nation’s most historic attractions, and offers wonderful cultural, dining and shopping experiences.

To register for the conference, download the conference registration form, complete it and mail it to Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Dr., Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923, fax it to 978-463-5809, or call us at 800-722-HOPE and someone will take your registration over the telephone.
