Workshops Now on DVD!
Education is a primary component of the Scleroderma
Foundation mission. We know the importance of acquiring
accurate and timely information to help people living
with the disease to manage their conditions.
To that end, the Scleroderma Foundation is proud to
announce that four new DVD’s are now available
for purchase through the Internet at www.sclerodermavideo.com.
The DVD’s contain footage from seven workshops
that were filmed at our National Conference, held in
July at Philadelphia. The DVD’s are packaged in
a series of two, except for the closing keynote speech
by Dr. Sergio Jimenez. They each cost $25.
The DVDs are:
- “Gastrointestinal Issues” and “Nutrition
and Your Immune System”
- “Panel Discussion – Stem Cell Transplantations”
and “Pain Management”
- “Dental Issues” and “Qualifying
for Disability Benefits”
- “Updates in Scleroderma Research and Treatment”
If you wish to purchase all four DVD’s, the cost
is $80.
The Web site, which was created by the DVD videographer,
Bill Celnick, will be expanded soon to include online
sample clips of the session. More titles from upcoming
video shoots will be added soon.
The DVDs are a great educational tool for members and
families in your chapter and support groups, especially
for those unable to attend the conference. You can play
them at an upcoming meeting or for whatever purpose
you see fit.
