Public Forum Information
This public forum is for autoimmune patients, their
families and anyone interested in hearing from leading
authorities and researchers about autoimmune diseases.
The afternoon forum will feature presentations, discussions
and Q & A’s by leading medical experts in
autoimmune disease. Participants will gain an understanding
of what autoimmunity means, the latest in autoimmune
disease research, as well as learn about the impact
of environmental factors and how patients can be their
own best advocates when dealing with health professionals.
This meeting is one of a series of “Dr. Everett
N. Rottenberg Public Awareness and Education Forums,”
honoring the memory of an outstanding physician, patient
advocate, and charter member of Autoimmune Diseases
Association’s Scientific Advisory Board
