This activity is intended for clinicians involved in the care of patients with pulmonary hypertension, including internists, family practitioners, pulmonologists, cardiologists, rheumatologists, hematologists and anesthesiologists.

Emerging Concepts in Pulmonary Hypertension

Pulmonary Hypertension Program to be Held March 16 at Johns Hopkins for Medical Professionals

Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine will host a symposium for medical professionals Friday, March 16, titled “Emerging Concepts in Pulmonary Hypertension.” The day-long symposium will be led by the university’s faculty.

The program schedule will consist of 12 topics, including one titled, “Unique Challenges in Scleroderma-Related Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.” Medical professionals attending the event can earn up to 7.5 ADA credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the event.

The symposium runs from 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m. and healthcare professionals may register for it online, by telephone (410) 955-2959 or fax (410) 955-0807. The deadline to register is March 12. An electronic brochure and registration form is available at www.dbkmed.com/pulmonary/.
