Mothers with Scleroderma Needed to
Participate in a Survey Research Study
Researchers from the University of New Mexico are seeking
participants for a study exploring the impact of symptoms—such
as pain and fatigue—on parenting mothers with
systemic sclerosis (scleroderma).
Mothers of children between the ages of 0 and 18 years
who have been diagnosed with scleroderma may be eligible
to participate. You may be asked to take part in an
online focus group or complete a packet of questionnaires
(either online or on paper).

TO BE ELIGIBLE YOU MUST BE:
- Over 21 years old
- Able to read and write in English
- Diagnosed with scleroderma by a physician
- A mother of a child or children between the ages
of 0 and 18 years of age
WHERE:
Survey packets may be completed online at a location
convenient to you, or in your home.
WHAT THE STUDY WILL CONSIST OF:
- 30–45 minutes of your time
- Completing questionnaires either online or on paper
- Answering questions about daily tasks, pain, fatigue,
and care of children
Participants who are selected and return the completed
questionnaire packet will receive a gift certificate
for their time and effort. |
