About Maribeth Duncan, MSN, APRN-BC

Maribeth is a graduate of Deaconess College of Nursing in St. Louis, Mo. She currently works as an adult nurse practitioner with Dr. Murali Chakinala at Barnes Jewish hospital at Washington University. Dr. Chakinala is a pulmonologist specializing in pulmonary vascular disorders, specifically pulmonary hypertension and HHT. Maribeth currently works in the hospital setting managing inpatients with pulmonary vascular disorders as well as seeing them in their outpatient specialty clinic. She is also involved in pulmonary research being done at Washington University and is a sub-investigator on all of the clinical trials Dr. Chakinala oversees. Maribeth currently serves as a consultant for several pharmaceutical companies and frequently speaks to other medical professionals and patient groups educating them about pulmonary hypertension and the management of this disease. She is also very involved with the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) and a member of the Pulmonary Hypertension Resource Network (PHRN).
