Our CEO, Frannie Waldron
Frances (Frannie) Waldron was appointed chief executive officer
in September, 2006.
Waldron has worked at the Foundation since 2004, primarily
in a development capacity, and has 20 years experience in
non-profits. Before her appointment, she was interim executive
director. She has also served as the Foundation’s director
of development and communications.
At the Scleroderma Foundation, Waldron has managed the direct
mail campaign, was in charge of the national “Stepping
Out to Cure Scleroderma” walks, and administered planned
giving, major donor and workplace giving programs. She also
oversees the planning and logistics of the Foundation’s
national gala, a major fundraiser, and its national conference.
Prior to joining the Scleroderma Foundation, Waldron held
development positions in higher education settings in both
Vermont and California. Waldron received her bachelor’s
degree in international studies from the School for International
Training in Brattleboro, Vt., and her Master’s of Business
Administration from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.
When not working, Waldron has been active as a volunteer
in both child development and youth exchange organizations.
