Bobby Hamilton, Jr. |
Team Rensi Heads to Michigan for the Carfax 25
Bobby Hamilton, Jr. and the Team Rensi Motorsports/Eckrich #25 Ford Fusion will be at the Michigan International Speedway on Saturday, August 16 for the Carfax 250.
The birthplace of the automobile is the apt host for NASCAR races. The Speedway is a two-mile moderate-banked D-shaped superspeedway located off U.S. Highway 12 on more than 1,400 acres near Brooklyn, in the scenic Irish Hills area of southeastern Michigan. The track, used primarily for NASCAR events, is sometimes known as a "sister track" of the Texas World Speedway. The track is also recognized as one of motorsports premier facilities because of its wide racing surface and high banking and is now one of the fastest tracks in NASCAR due to its wide, sweeping corners and long straightaways (typical qualifying speeds are in excess of 190 mph and corner entry speeds easily exceed 200 mph).
Be sure to watch Bobby and the entire team this Saturday, August 16 as they compete in the Carfax 250. All the action begins on ESPN2 at 3 p.m., EST. Check your local listings for the broadcast time in your area. |
