Calling all researchers!
The Fiscal Year 2008 (FY08) Defense Appropriations Act provides $50 million to the Department of Defense Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) to support research that will make significant contributions in research of scleroderma, among other areas. |

“I have trouble chewing.”
“Food just doesn’t taste the same anymore.”
“I don’t have a car to go shopping.”
“It’s hard to cook for one person.”
“I’m just not that hungry anymore.”
Sound familiar? These are some of the common reasons older people stop eating right. |

Water Walking
Beat joint pain by taking your walking routine to the pool.
Looking for a great summer workout? Leave your gym shoes in the closet, and hit the pool for a walk in the water instead. Water walking is becoming increasingly popular, with classes popping up across the country, and for good reason, says Vennie Jones, aquatic coordinator for the Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center in Dallas. |

Bobby Hamilton, Jr. |
The Nationwide Series Takes a Break
NASCAR’s Nationwide Series takes a one week break.
Look for Bobby Hamilton, Jr.’s next appearance at the Texas Motor Speedway for the O’Reilly 300 on Saturday, April 5. Check your local listings for the time in your area.
This is no time for Bobby to rest on his laurels following his top-ten finish at last week’s Nashville Superspeedway, however. The NASCAR Nationwide Series wrapped up its two-day official test at Richmond International Raceway Tuesday with two sessions at America’s Premier Short Track. In Tuesday afternoon’s session, Bobby Hamilton, Jr. turned the quickest lap in his No. 25 Smithfield Foods car with a time of 21.733 seconds. In the night session “under the lights”, Brad Keselowski posted the fastest lap in the U.S. Navy Chevrolet with a time of 21.696 seconds.
When Bobby’s not racing, which is not often, race fans might see a familiar face if they decide to dine at the Courthouse Café in Springfield, Tenn. Bobby and his wife Stephanie own and operate the eatery on the courthouse square in Springfield. The café has a racing theme with a black and white checkered floor and red and yellow booths. The country cooking features a daily Bobby’s special of meat-and-three with a whole list of vegetables from which to choose.
