Turkel of the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine, and head of the division of child/adolescent psychiatry/neuropsychiatry at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. |

I've been thinking about resolutions for the new year, things I can do to kick-start a better trend in my life. Not that I've caused most of the bad things that I've experienced—tornadoes, car accidents and car break-downs, and illness (just to name a few) are completely out of my control. But I CAN control how I live in the wake of negative experiences. |
