In
March we launched a new look to our member magazine, the "Scleroderma
VOICE" and with it we added many new features, including
a managing page. The purpose of this feature is to make you,
our members and readers, aware of products that others have
found helpful in managing their scleroderma. |

While
the use of painkillers tends to grab most of the headlines
when it comes to coping with arthritis, the use of assistive
devices also plays an important role. These simple devices
can improve your ability to walk, bathe, cook, clean, and
get dressed with relative ease. |

As
many of you know, our partnership with CarePages has afforded
us the ability to offer you free scleroderma-branded Web sites
so you can keep everyone updated on your child’s, family,
or friend, or own personal medical care. It’s also a
great way to report those many family happenings that make
us smile! |

...
is an excellent way to support the Scleroderma Foundation's
mission of support, education, and research!
 Does
your workplace participate in United Way? Are you a federal
employee? Does your organization have its own workplace giving
campaign? If your answer is yes to any of these questions,
you can support the Scleroderma Foundation through easy payroll
deductions.
You
can help the fight against scleroderma by spreading the word
about the Scleroderma Foundation among your colleagues. Let
them know the Foundation is an option for their workplace
giving donations.
It's
the perfect time to get involved! Most workplace giving
campaigns are launched in the fall, and take effect January
1. |
