Airlines,
cruise ships, railroads and other public carriers all have different
(and sometimes, nonexistent) regulations governing traveling
with oxygen or mobility aids. This article will provide general
information to make trip planning easier for those of you who
have special needs while traveling.

During
the week of June 18, contact your local legislator to express
your support for an increase in NIH funding.
The
Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human
Services (HHS), and Education is expected to mark-up its fiscal
year 2008 funding bill during
the week of June 18. This bill provides annual
appropriations for biomedical research at the National Institutes
of Health (NIH).

BIRMINGHAM,
ENGLAND — Long-term administration of the ACE inhibitor
quinapril failed to significantly improve symptoms of limited
cutaneous systemic sclerosis or reduce the frequency or severity
of Raynaud's episodes, compared with placebo, according to
a study presented at the annual meeting of the British Society
for Rheumatology. |
