"Aerobic Exercise May Help With Autoimmune Disease-Related Fatigue"

(originally published in the "Journal of Advanced Nursing" 2006)

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) Dec 25 - Increasing amounts of low impact aerobic exercise may help individuals with the fatigue that often accompanies chronic autoimmune conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis, according to a recent report.

Topical Nitroglycerin Gel Shows Promise as Treatment Advance for Raynaud's

This headline from last week's eLetter (#179) elicited many e-mails asking questions about the gel's availability. In response to the e-mails, we found that this medication is still in clinical trials and is not available yet. It is in its second phase III trial. It is possible that after this trial the company will present to the FDA for approval. We do not know when/if the gel will become available for use in treatment.
