the Foundation’s three-fold mission of support, education
and research through the electronic and print media. He accomplishes
this task by writing and distributing press releases, pitching
story ideas, and serving as the initial point of contact for
media inquiries. |

Rock
on, Jim. Surrounded by legendary rock bands Foreigner, Billy
Idol, Lynyrd Skynrd, Kid Rock and more, Jim Filanc and his
"Nitro Tire Racing for Life" team spent this week
at the 66th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, raising
money and awareness for the Scleroderma Foundation (SF) and
the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF). |

Watch
Kenny Wallace Race This Weekend
Scleroderma awareness comes to New York this Saturday, August
12, so be sure to watch for the Scleroderma Foundation’s
logo on the car of our awareness partner—Kenny Wallace—as
he races in the Zippo 200 at the Watkins Glen International
in Watkins Glen, N.Y.
This race will air on NBC television and MRN radio networks.
The race will air at 2 p.m. eastern. Support Kenny and help
spread Scleroderma Awareness.
Last week, Kenny finished 20th. |
