of proliferating lymphocytes, appears to improve lung function in
patients with interstitial lung disease as a result of connective
tissue disease, Colorado-based researchers report in the July issue
of Chest.

Our
2006 National Conference, which was sponsored by Actelion
Pharmaceuticals, platinum sponsor, and Encysive Pharmaceuticals,
gold sponsor, is over but the excitement still remains. Hundreds
of people, including those with scleroderma and those who
support them, doctors, nurses, lawyers, and more, gathered
at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel in Minneapolis, Minn. to
learn about the disease and share their experiences. Check

Each
month, Mattress Discounters donates a portion of their schedule
to the Charity of the Month program on each station. The Charity
of the Month features local organizations and charities that
support Washington, D.C. area communities. The organizations
benefit from free exposure on three Bonneville stations, and

Watch
Kenny Wallace Race This Weekend
Scleroderma awareness comes to Indiana this Saturday, August
5, so be sure to watch for the Scleroderma Foundation’s
logo on the car of our awareness partner—Kenny Wallace—as
he races in the Kroger 200 benefiting Riley Hospital for Children
at the Indianapolis Raceway Park in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This race will air on the TNT television and the MRN radio
networks. The race will air at 9 p.m. eastern. Support Kenny
and help spread Scleroderma Awareness.
Last week, Kenny finished 9th. He's inching his way to the
top! |
