What You Need to Know About Traveling with Oxygen and Mobility Aids

Since some of you will be traveling this weekend to the National Conference in Minneapolis, Minn., we thought a review of this article would be helpful.

Airlines, cruise ships, railroads and other public carriers all have different (and sometimes, nonexistent) regulations governing traveling with oxygen or mobility aids. This article will provide general information to make trip planning easier for those of you who have special needs while traveling.

Saturday morning, several hundred scleroderma patients and supporters of the scleroderma cause will join together at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel in Minneapolis for a weekend of fun, education and mutual support at the 2006 Scleroderma Foundation National Conference.

Scleroderma awareness comes to Illinois this weekend, Saturday, July 29, so be sure to watch for the Scleroderma Foundation’s logo on the car of our awareness partner—Kenny Wallace—as he races in the Gateway 200 presented by Shop ‘n Save at the Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois.

This race will air on the TNT television and the MRN radio networks. The race will air at 8 p.m. eastern. Support Kenny and help spread Scleroderma Awareness.

Last week, Kenny finished 13th!
