A Letter from the Scleroderma Family Registry and DNA Repository

Dear Friend of the Scleroderma Foundation:

On behalf of Maureen Mayes M.D., MPH, I invite you to register and become members of the Scleroderma Family Registry & DNA Repository. This NIH/NIAMS (National Institutes of Health/National Institute for Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases) financed national resource has to date enrolled over 700 scleroderma patients. Thanks to these samples, we have made some strong associations with a small group of genes and are in the process of publishing these results.

National Volunteer Week, April 23-29, 2006Recognize a Volunteer

At every level—from local gatherings to national initiatives—we rely on people who give generously of their time and talent.

April 23–29 is National Volunteer Week. During this week, the Foundation would like to take the time to recognize the people who help you carry out our three-fold mission of support, education and research.

Please take the time to recognize as many volunteers as you’d like—and feel free to tell us something special about this person or the work they do so well.

There is no limit to the number of people you may recognize. Just click here to get started. The form is simple and only takes a minute or two to complete.

Thanks! Your work makes it all possible.
