Recognition of Our Volunteers
MONDAY VOLUNTEERS
-
Teresa Didio Baker
Norfolk (VA) Support Group
Scleroderma Foundation
“Teresa is my sister. I am a scleroderma patient.
When we found out about my diagnosis in January 2006,
she immediately took action to find a way to raise money
for research and awareness of the disease. She has joined
forces with the Delaware Valley Chapter and the Kenny
Wallace Race Team to auction/raffle a golf cart. She starts
at the May 5 Richmond race collecting racer signatures
and letting people know how they can win the golf cart.
Contact her at tbaker5221@aol.com
to find out how you can help her get the word out.
-
Dagne Lazenby
President, Ohio Chapter
Scleroderma Foundation
“I met Dagne back in 2002, that was out first meeting.
She had taken the time to come up to Maumee, Ohio to meet
with me so I could get a support group started here. I
am glad to have met her and her husband, Gary. Dagne calls
to make sure I have everything I need for group meetings.
If I ever need anything she is there to help any way she
can. She is a worthy volunteer.” Jerri
Sue DeTray, Toledo area support group
-
Cheri Woo
Seminar Coordinator, Publicity, Board Member
Oregon Chapter
Scleroderma Foundation
“Cheri is a tireless worker for the Portland group,
putting on fabulous seminars each year, creating great
fundraising ideas like garage sales, promoting public
information about scleroderma (even thorough her recent
throat surgery). She never seems to tire from all the
tasks she does. She really deserves more than local recognition.”
