a Walk Near You!
Take an Important Step
for Scleroderma
This year you can touch the lives of family, friends,
co-workers, and everyone who lives with scleroderma
by participating in one of our "Stepping Out to
Cure Scleroderma" nationwide walks. In 2007, our
walks raised almost $1.3 million. By walking you'll support
the Scleroderma Foundation and the hundreds of thousands
of adults and children who cope with this disease every
day.

Start a Walk
Would you like to start a walk? It’s easy to get
involved. Your local chapter or support group would
be happy to help, and we’ll get you connected.
The National Office provides you with all the tools
to make it a success. In addition to the funds your
walk will raise, you will be creating valuable awareness
about scleroderma to the general public.
If you don’t want to start a walk yourself,
find
the one that’s closest and become a walker.
As a walker, you can walk in honor or memory of an individual
with scleroderma, or just for the fun of being a part
of a great community event. We have all the tools you
need to make raising funds easy, including an online
resource that will allow you to register and raise all
of your funds without leaving the house.
Please join us!
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have fun
and make new friends while raising money and awareness
for a worthy cause.
For information, please contact our Tracey Sperry, Development and Research Manager at 800-722-HOPE (4673), ext. 44, or e-mail her at tsperry@scleroderma.org.
