• Spring 2008 Newsletter Available

The Scleroderma Foundation Western Pennsylvania Chapter is currently recruiting for the position of executive director to oversee the daily operations of the chapter.  This is a salaried position.  In addition, the chapter would like to grow membership on its board of directors.  Anyone interested in pursuing any of these positions are invited to contact Roger Brechner, chapter and support group manager of the Scleroderma Foundation at: rbrechner@scleroderma.org, or by calling him at the Foundation’s National Office at:  800-722-HOPE (4673).

Our Mission

To help support the Scleroderma Foundation in their three-fold mission:

• Support: To help patients and their families cope with scleroderma through mutual support programs, peer counseling, physician referrals, and educational information.
• Education: To promote public awareness and education through patient and health professional seminars, literature, and publicity campaigns.
• Research: To stimulate and support research to improve treatment and ultimately find the cause of and cure for scleroderma and related diseases.
